    Twilight Sunset

    Bangkok – twilight time

Sunsets in Bangkok can be breathtakingly beautiful and even more so when viewed from an equally magical vantage point. The Twilight sunset ride is a late afternoon tour that will take you along some of the hidden alleyways of Bangkok, through hidden communities and secret temples ending at the highest temple in Bangkok to view the sunset over the City of Angels.

See Bangkok in its homeward drive from safe and carefully planned routes where each turn will leave you in amazement and wonder as we carefully cycle through new and old parts of the city to learn about its colourful history, partake in cultural practices and sample some of the famous tasty snacks on offer.

Just before sunset, we’ll climb to the top of the Golden Mountain to see the last rays of sunlight light up the western bank of the Chaophraya river with the sky changing slowly from pale yellow to bright orange as the sun quietly slips behind the horizon.

We start with a leisurely ride zig-zagging through a maze of little lanes and alleyways as we slowly make our way to the Chao Phraya river. Along the way we’ll have a quick stop at a local temple which houses the biggest standing Buddha image in Bangkok. Once at the river, we’ll partake in a Thai custom of “tamboon” by feeding the fish. Along the way we’ll have a snack stop, with another short drinks break at one of our scenic universities. As we make our way to the Golden mountain we’ll pass the beautiful Ananta Samakhom Throne hall, built in 1915 in neoclassical style with Italian marble. This hall is still used for royal receptions and other state functions.

A short ride further will take us past the Thailand United Nations building before reaching the Golden mountain temple. We’ll spend some time at this temple to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings as well as view the sunset. From here we slowly make our way back to the Just Nok shop, where we should arrive with plenty of time for you to still enjoy the night life of Bangkok.
